Some visitors my have seen my photographs from Antony Gormley’s Another Place and this statue is very recognisable from either my images or having visited Crosby Beach. This figure has been sunk into the pavement outside the Scottish National Gallery of Modern Art and from here there is a lovely walk along the Water of Leith (a river in Edinburgh) to the town of Leith. There are 5 other statues along this walk and although I have walked by the river a number of times over the years I haven’t yet been able to photograph all 6 statues.
