It my final day in the city of Edinburgh and I wanted to make it special, so this morning I took the bus to the Royal Mile and then walked down it. As I was heading towards the Palace of Holyroodhouse I found this statue of David Hume. It has a traffic cone on its head, presumably placed there by drunken students from the previous evening. You may think it strange to publish such a photograph. Well it reminded me of a picture I saw of a statue in front of Glasgow College of art where students did the same thing and kept repeating the prank up till the council gave up and left the cone there permanently. I hope to visit the city of Glasgow on my next Scotland tour and take a photo for you.
