Padarn Lake is a glacially formed lake in Snowdonia, Gwynedd, north Wales. As we were in the area I saw a car park and pulled in. Little did I realise there was a lake in front of this car park and we were also very close to Snowdon. I probably should have taken the hint when I saw the white boat called “Snowdon Star”. It was quite a tricky shot to expose correctly due to the very bright white and reds of the boat, but with dark trees in the background.
