Taken on the last day of 2005, on a family walk around Dunham Park. One thing I really enjoy about winter is when the sun does come out and the skies look interesting, the naked trees look very strange. It seems like they are massive creatures that are stood tall and hibernating through the winter, waiting for the spring when they come back to life and grow leaves again. I’m not sure what attracted me to publishing this photograph, but I think I just enjoy looking at the pattern of the silhouetted tree shapes.
