The Singing Ringing Tree is a musical sculpture powered by wind in the Pennine hills overlooking Burnley. I have been before, but on a cloudy day. So it was on the list to revisit with a blue sky. Being down the road in Rochdale as the weather improved and the sun came out I chose to give up on the motocross and head up into the hills. I framed this photo with a small cloud in the curve of the tree. There are three or four different interesting angles to capture here. I took my tripod to try for some HDR, shooting three to five different exposures. But in the end one exposure was enough for me to capture what I needed.
