This is the Shell Stanlow Oil Refinery seen from same hill in the village of Ince between Helsby and Chester. Obviously I would have loved to get closer, but there were fences and trees in the way, still I do like the sky and the contrast in steam and smoke that is coming out of the chimneys. Next time I get the same lighting in this part of the world I hope to use a neutral density graduated filter to get more detail in the lower third of the frame.
