The Cathedral Church of St Peter and St Paul in Sheffield is an interesting combination of old and new. The East end of the current church is the oldest and parts date back to the 13th century. In complete contrast the Lantern Tower (on the left of this photograph) was added in 1966 when the church was rededicated. Improvements were made to the glass in the roof of the lantern tower in 1998, which are well worth looking inside to enjoy.
