Seagull

Whilst walking around the picturesque seaside village of Staithes on the North East coast of England in wonderful light I came across this very tame seagull. Although the back lighting wasn’t perfect for his portrait, I liked the way it gave a rim light around the top of his head. He was extremely patient with me as I chose the right settings on the camera to get a sharp picture and blur out the water in the background.
