On my week in Sardinia, Italy, I had the chance to be driven up into the mountains around the southern end of the island. The views from around 1000 metres looking back to the sea were fantastic but we really drove up there to try and find a nature reserve that my uncle knew of where they breed deer. We did find the deer but it was very dark under the cover of the forest trees so photography was extremely limited with my one lens. On the drive back down towards Pula we stopped the car at a Goat farm, the above photograph was taken from the car window. I was very lucky with the wonderful light that came from the right and lit up the animal very nicely. Its a shame we can’t make out both eyes in the image, but all in all I am pleased to be able to share this picture with you.
