Seen from Glenridding on the south side of Ullswater, we were driving past and saw this boat and small island with the sun directly on it. The way the background was so dark really makes the white and red of the little boat stand out. Jumping out of the car I literally ran down to the shore side before the boat could move out of this image that I had framed in my mind. Ideally I would have framed it with less water and more of that dark background, but that is what rushing gets you.
