This landscape was taken on the road side as I stepped out of the car on Highway 6. This main road runs for about 400km along the spectacular West Coast of New Zealand’s South Island. This is the Tasman Sea rolling onto the deserted beach. The majority of the hundreds of beaches along this road seemed to be pretty much free of people. Rapahoe is small sea side village about ten kilometres north of the town of Greymouth.
