This weekend I drove to Southport, well I attempted to as the Airshow was on and I thought it might be worth going back. However the weather was quite wet and overcast, so I was in two minds about whether or not we should go. When we got off the motorway the traffic started from Ormskirk, so I gave up on the airshow idea and went a few miles south to Formby beach. This helicopter was circling for a good ten minutes over the beach as we walked along, presumably waiting to be called up the coast to the airshow.
