Quays Millennium Bridge at Sunset

There are times for all photographers when they have to get out and take a picture, it might be a subject that comes into their lives or the weather changing, but suddenly they need to get out there and take their lens caps off. This recently happened to me and so I drove down to Salford Quays one afternoon, camera in one hand and tripod in the other. I have photographed the Quays dozens and dozens of times, but I wanted to try my hand at some HDR (high dynamic range) photography inspired by some of the great work of Trey Ratcliff over at his website Stuck in Customs. The above shot of Millenium Bridge is nowhere near Trey’s standard, but it is a different technique that I may try every once in a while.
