Sharpness in bird photography is something that requires a lot of practice and here I nailed it. The bad news with this photo is that the bird was so tiny in the frame that it has been cropped from a 12 megapixel image down to something less than 1 megapixel. It works great here on the website but as a print it would look awful. Maybe next time I find myself on the Farne Islands I will have a longer lens than my 200mm!
