Painted Ladies and skyline

Yesterday’s photograph showed the Painted Ladies or Seven Sisters in the daytime with tourists in the foreground. After spending a couple of hours walking around Alamo Square in the foreground I found that much further back up the hill is probably the best view. As the sun went down and the street lamps came on the front of the houses were quite dark. Getting this higher view point meant we can see more of skyline in the background. Just as the sun set another photographer with a tripod came and stood right in the centre of my shot. Thankfully he was only there for about an hour and this was taken just as soon as he had walked out of the frame.
