The 2011 Malcolm Wilson Rally was my third, but it was the first time I found a decent corner in Greystoke Forest. The last time I tried back in 2009 it was raining pretty hard. Above we see a very rare Opel Kadett rally car being driven by Allan McDowall with Gavin Heseltine as the co-driver. They finished in position 35 overall but second in their class. As they came power sliding past myself and Eddie (a car mad friend of mine) it was one of only a couple of cars that we didn’t instantly recognise.
