This is the view across the bush to Thompsons Point and Onetangi Bay from the deck Whisper Cottage. Just a 45 minute boat trip from the centre of Auckland, this was my third trip to Waiheke Island. Before now, I have just been for day trips but recently I took a weekend to relax on the island. This weekend marks the start of another long adventure with my camera where I will be travelling more than ever have before.
