Logos, signs and bright colours always attract me when I am out with my camera. I was looking for original photographs around the car park of the Anson Engine Museum and found this very old oil barrel with the Royal Dutch Shell logo on it. I was drawn to it because of the red and yellow strips around the barrel and three Shell logos. I have no idea of the age of this barrel or what was in it when I took the photograph, but it must be many years old judging by how the colours have faded and the rust has set in. It isn’t the most interesting image I have put on the website but I wanted to share it with you as it is something different and has a quality about it which pleases me, I have no idea what exactly, but I like the photo and that’s good enough for me.
