In the foreground is the steam train of the Snowdon Mountain Railway. In the middle ground is Clogwyn Station and in the background are Llyn Padarn and the town of Llanberis. This railway line, which is just under 5 miles in length, has a single track with passing loops. It has been in operation since 1896 and is a rack and pinion mountain railway.
