One of the first photographs taken through the window of a flying helicopter. Looking north towards the summit and zooming in the camera. Even from this distance I was about four miles from the tallest mountain top in New Zealand. At first view of this photograph on the back of my camera, I was a little disappointed with the large cloud to the right of the peak. However, this in my mind adds to the drama of the view.
It’s a great image. The cloud doesn’t detract at all. In fact I would say that it adds to the composition.
The cloud is striking. Surreal. It does add a lot of drama. Thanks for a beautiful photograph.
