Recently I was going through some of my best photographs from 2007 and 2008 and came across this old favourite black and white image of a buoy and rope. I found this interesting buoy at the harbour in a small fishing village called Craster in Northumberland. This photograph has been featured in a number of photographic competitions and I have searched my website high and low, but weirdly, as far as I am aware, it has never been published on this website – so here it is, one of my best monochrome photographs, in my opinion.
