Taken at the 2011 Malcolm Wilson rally this Mitsubishi Evo 9 Rally Car is being driven by David Wright with Michael WIlkinson as the co-driver. This photograph was captured in the first stage of the rally and unfortunately this car didn’t make it to the end of the rally, as they retired in stage five with a hole in the oil filter. The sharpness of the above photograph is perfect, but I am very glad I now have a circular polarising filter as it would have helped to massively reduce the reflections in the car’s windscreen, allowing us to see more of the drivers face (albeit inside his helmet).
