I had seen the Millennium Dome a number of times on TV and once before on a trip to London. The plan was for a night photo shoot at Canary Wharf and when looking on the map I realised that it wouldn’t be to much trouble to walk down the banks of the River Thames, to get a photograph looking across the river towards this unique building. Sadly, when I got to the perfect spot it was in front of some apartments which had a lot of “private” and “no entry” signs on, but seeing the gates open I walked through, set up my tripod and took the picture I had in mind anyway. Turning around to leave I thankfully realised this was a public area and that there was no chance of me being locked in behind electric gates till the morning!
