Millbank Tower on the banks of the River Thames

Millbank Tower is a skyscraper on the banks of the River Thames in London. It was built in 1963 and is 118 metres (or 387 feet) high. From the angle captured above it seems very close to the London Eye, which you can clearly make out on the opposite side of the river. In fact there is over half a mile between these two landmarks of the London skyline. This was taken a number of years ago on a long weekend stay in the capital. Needless to say I was stood on one of the many bridges over the Thames to capture this photograph.
