Walking down Lower Mosley Street towards St. Peter’s Square in Manchester the sun literally caught my eye as I crossed Great Bridgewater Street. This took me by surprise as the sun was in the opposite direction. Looking up I could see it was reflecting off the top of the Beatham Tower. Finding a good spot to stand where I could get the bridge and top of the tower in the frame, with the sun flare and not get run over by traffic proved a little awkward (so much so I actually missed the first tram going over the bridge). But I waited patiently for a tram to come over the bridge and above is the resulting photograph.
