In the centre of Castlefield used to be what looked like an abandoned Night Club or bar, it was one of the more modern buildings, that is, it wasn’t an old converted warehouse or factory. I walked past it many times to take some of my favourite views of Manchester from this area and often thought to myself, “I must take that buildings photograph sometime”. It was white and of a very 1990’s style of architecture to it, there were benches outside, it was all boarded up with a little graffiti here and there. Well, the above photograph shows the remains of that building last time I went.
It just shows that you should never leave “that photo” until “next time” because you never know when next time will be. It will be interesting to see in 2008 what, if anything gets put up in its place.
