About a week ago I was sitting at my desk writing up posts for this site and happened to look out of the window towards Student Village, noticing the warm purples and oranges in the sky. I quickly stood up to look over at the Beetham Tower and behind it the sky was even more magical. Before you knew it I was firing off photos one handed with the camera dangling out of the window. Ideally, I would be out on the roof or a balcony with the tripod, but this wasn’t possible so I did my best. To be honest I have published more than a couple of images from my bedroom window in the last twelve months and didn’t want to keep taking the same view over and over – but you can’t argue with a sky like this.
