One of my favourite walks into the city centre from my old flat used to talk me down the Rochdale canal and up next to the Bridgewater Hall. A few months ago on one of my regular walks around the city centre with my camera, I saw this man through the corner window and knew there was a photo there. It works much better in black and white as the sky was very grey, but I like the silhouette effect. The building to the right of this photograph is the back of the Midland Hotel.
