I had seen a number of photos in guide books of these upturned boats that had been made into Beach Huts for the fishermen on Lindisfarne. It was on my long list of things I wanted to capture on Holy Island this summer. This was taken in the midday sun and with a little HDR processing came out as an “OK” photo. Hopefully in the next year or two I aim to stay on the island for a few days at the camp site in order to get more photos at dawn and dusk.
