Mr Sleepy Leopard was found lying against the glass of his cage at Edinburgh Zoo, so I couldn’t help but wait around for him to lift up his head. I must have waited for a good ten minutes and to keep myself busy took this detail shot of the fur on the top of his front leg and torso. Just as I gave up waiting a fat couple of tourists came and banged on the glass, so he woke up and jumped up against the glass on his back legs. Their faces were a picture! Sadly my version of the angry beast has reflections from the glass showing the man and wife with camera phones in hand. I just keep telling myself I prefer the pattern of the fur on this beautiful creature to its angry face.
