Lake Pearson was one of the smaller lakes I drove past on Arthur’s Pass at only about a mile long. It was right back the highway so couldn’t help but stop for this view. Here I was stood on the waters edge looking across Ritchies Bay towards Purple Hill. As with many of my lake landscapes, I walked along the shore until I came across a few small rocks, then got low to the ground to capture this photograph. The rocks break up the blue of the water and add to the picture in my opinion.
