La Scala is an old cinema, ballroom and bingo hall in Runcorn. I was recently scouting a good location to try to photograph the Runcorn Widnes Bridge and the sat-nav took me down this road. Being a Sunday it was very quiet and I parked as soon as I saw this old building. Evidently it may be demolished to make way for yet more apartments. Looking around the internet there are a few braver / crazier photographers who have ventured inside this building and taken some interesting interior shots.
