According to my tour guide, Koalas seem to wake up to eat between 11am and mid day. So we stopped near Kennett River on the Great Ocean Road just before Apollo Bay. I had read that see ing Koala’s in the wild is very rare but within less than twenty minutes not only had I seen three of these creatures but two were awake. Obviously being wild there were high in the trees making it more challenging to get a good photograph, this was the best I could come up with.
