Kenilworth Castle was one of the most difficult castles I have photographed in a long time. I had perfect lighting but, being new to Warwickshire, it was my first time visiting the castle, so I didn’t really know where the best viewpoint was. I spent a couple of hours walking around the castle, viewing it from close up and from a distance across the fields. The above view is one of the first images I captured that day showing the main path from the tourist car park towards the castle gates.
