Kangaroo lying down on grass

I have never seen a kangaroo lie down. As you can see he was awake and looking around, but lying there sunning himself. Apart from the fact I have never seen the animal do this before I also noticed the light on his face and body. It contrasts well with the shadow area behind and makes him stand out, giving an almost 3D look to the picture.
