There are dozens of interesting human statues, buskers and street performers along this 1.2km walkway through the very heart of the city centre. I had seen similar performers along London’s South Bank below the London Eye, but never as many. The opportunities for practising portrait photography were great, however I tended to focus on the ones who were still and had there eyes closed most of the time. Generally, as they are busking to make money, they want you to pay to photograph them, which is understandable. I prefer to pay once I have got a photograph like the one above that I am happy with.
