The name of this house or exact location is unknown to me. We were driving up to Ullswater via Windermere and decided to go and explore Grassmere. When we arrived at the lake the sun was in the wrong place, so we drove down a few country lanes trying to get views looking down onto the lake. We stumbled upon this house and decided to jump out and get a few quick photos, because here, the light was in the right place. I believe that this was a private home or holiday cottage. The mountain in the background looks very interesting with a lot of colour and texture to it; the house itself is great for giving the whole view some scale.
