Going to the Bristol Balloon Fiesta 2008 I had half a dozen photographs in my mind that I hoped to capture. Some of which didn’t come to pass as discussed on a previous post, but this one was definitely on my agenda. I had seen similar half inflated, bright coloured hot air balloon pictures in various competitions and wanted to see if I could create something as good. When I got to the Saturday morning launch I found that the majority of balloons had big corporate sponsors logos all over them and very few were in the more traditional bright colours. I am glad I found these two colourful balloons being inflated so close to each other and the photo worked just as I had it in my head.
