Animals, like people, always seem to look best in the warm light of either early morning or late afternoon. The above photograph of a horse looking over a stone wall was taken in the late afternoon on a weekend away in the Yorkshire Dales. I went for a small walk around the village I was staying in and came across this happy chap. The sun really lit up the hair and side of the face just the way I wanted.
