Hoopers Inlet is only have an hours drive outside of the centre of Dunedin in the South Island of New Zealand. In many ways, it couldn’t be much different from the city. This was the view from the passenger side window of the camper van I had hired. The fact that this photograph was taken on Christmas Day might have added to the peacefulness in that it almost felt like we had the whole of the Otago Penisula to ourselves.
