Llandudno has been one of my favourite coastal places to photograph so far this year and although I only spent a few hours there, I feel that I have a lot of images to share. This picture caught my eye because of the sweeping curve of the sea on the sand. It was very deliberate on my part, when taking the photo, to make sure that the line of the water came in from the bottom right and took you around the image till your eye lands on the large creamy white building in the centre of the frame. This is Llanduno’s Grand Hotel. In front of this and to the right is Llanduno Pier. The reflections in the calm seawater also add to this image in my opinion.
