There are always photographs we see that would look interesting, but our cameras are unable to capture, be it a bird that is too far away or a tower that is too big to fit in the frame. In the past I had seen dozens of photographs where my lens wasn’t a wide enough angle to fully include the subject. Then I purchased the Sigma 10-20mm lens and this changed. Here I used it to look up at Glasgow Tower and show the shape of the structure in a new way. It was taken very low down to the ground, in fact I was flat out on my back on the ground! Another thing which surprised me about this photograph when I looked at it on the computer – I could see my feet. So the above image is actually cropped from the original because nobody wants to see me accidentally including my shoes at the bottom of photographs.
