New Zealand isn’t too famous for the quirky things you might come across whilst driving through towns and villages. Buildings such as this (while not common) must come as quite a shock to visitors. Shaped like a giant white dog, this building is the local information centre. It is on the main highway which runs through the town of Tirau. I have driven through here a couple of times on my way between Auckland and Rotorua. On my last drive through I knew I had to stop the car for a few photographs. There are a few different buildings in Tirau made out of corrugated iron.
