Forth Bridge in the Mist

Having travelled to Scotland at least half a dozen times I was keen to finally try to get a good photograph of the Forth Bridge and Forth Road Bridge. I had captured them before a few years ago, but only recently the new paint job on the Forth Bridge finished and all the scaffolding was taken off the bridge. This was taken late in the afternoon. I had decided that the weather was too bad in Edinburgh for any of the pictures I had in mind and so I would do a location scout around the bridges to find the viewpoint I wanted for my pre dawn night photograph. The above shows the right angle, but the mist is so thick that you can hardly see the road bridge in the background across the water. Still it makes for a moody image of the rail bridge.
