From tiny chick to bird of prey. Often mistaken for an eagle due to its size, this beautiful creature was sat on a perch with a number of others. Getting the camera down to his level and zooming in, it was just a matter of time before he quickly turned his head towards my lens. I used a shallower aperture of f/5.6 here to drop the background nicely out of focus; this draws your eye more to the focal point.
