Christmas Day on a road trip to Dunedin turned out to be one of my better ideas. On any other sunny day of the year I would expect Anzac Square to be teaming with tourists. However on 25th December we near enough had the place to ourselves. Opened in 1906, this is one of the most elaborate railway station’s I have seen in a long time. Especially it has only two platforms.
