This was the second time I have been to the Dream sculpture near St. Helen’s. The first time was an early morning in winter. The above photograph was captured just after mid day when the sun was at its strongest. I chose this time of day to make the white sculpture reflect as much bright light as possible into my camera. This causes it to both “stop down” and set a very quick shutter speed, thus rendering the blue sky as this very dark colour. Just the background I was after for this photograph.
