This is the view looking east from the top of Magic Mountain. It took an experienced driver in a large 4×4 to get up there but it was well worth it for this view. This Ōpūnohu Bay with Mount Rotui behind. Just out of the photograph to the left is the Hilton hotel with it’s famous overwater accommodation. Moorea is an island in French Polynesia, just a few miles east of Tahiti.
