Colourful Market Stall, Pula, Sardinia

Last week in Sardinia I stayed just outside the small town of Pula. Whenever I am away from home it’s nice to check out the local market and Pula’s Market was very interesting. It was a little small and mainly lots of fresh fruit and veg, so I wasn’t going to take any photographs to be honest, but I did walk past the market stall pictured above a couple of times and thought that there was a photograph there. After the third time I walked past, I stopped myself, pulled out the camera and took a quick grab shot. I felt that the colourful children’s clothing worked well against the lovely blue of the sky. In the past I used to see photos like this and not bother taking them, then spend most of the day remembering how I didn’t take the picture and wishing that I had!
