On the journey up to Edinburgh a couple of weeks back, I stopped in Gateshead to take photographs of the Angel of the North. We then travelled up the east coast of Northumberland to St. Abb’s Head on the Scottish borders. I walked up for coastal footpath for about half an hour and even climbed right down to the rocks to get more interesting pictures. Unfortunately this photograph, although a nice image of the rugged coast line doesn’t actually show St. Abb’s Head, which is around the path to the left but I didn’t realise this until I got back to the harbour. Still, I know where it is and next time I’m in that part of the country I will be sure to return.
